Labrador Retriever/Akita Mix: An adoptable dog in Pullman, WA in Pullman, Washington For Sale

Pixie is a 7 year old Lab mix. She is 1/2 Labrador, 1/4 Akita, and 1/4 Shar Pei. The original owner had her since she was 7 weeks old but due to a change in living situations they could not keep her. We were told she tends to get protective of her family members, and their territory. She used to live with a male American Eskimo who was dominant to her, and 2 cats. So we know that she is good with cats. Pixie should go to a home where she will be the only dog as she does not generally get along with other dogs. She is really sweet, she may be a little nervous around new people once she gets attached to you. But, once she warms up to somebody, she is so loving. She has been taken to many WCHS events and she did wonderfully. Her favorite activities are fetching toys, balls, and frisbees. We were also told by her original owner that although she does love car rides she has a tendency to get motion sickness so it is best not to feed...
